Our post-market meeting with our tiniest coworker Our post-market meeting with our tiniest coworker πŸ‘ΆπŸΌ Who stands there and yells while we try to talk πŸ˜… She loves to be a part of everything. Can't wait until we can really put her to work. We used to have our Monday meetings at the Golden Buddha in Romeo before heading to the shop but it looks a little different these days with Junie. Still got our Thai, though πŸ˜‰ from our favorite place in our neck of the woods, Sushi Thai in Oxford. We were working on finalizing the details for our June Market today. We have some fun things planned including a yoga class with mimosas πŸ₯‚ We'll share the details and have tickets available this week but that's happening Sunday, June 25. We'll also have a permanent jewelry company out that weekend, as well. Stay tuned... 😊
I want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who I want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out and shopped on this fall/summer weather weekend!! And, also to those of you who attended our embroidery class at The Grainery. I forgot to take pictures of all of you kind people again who came out to support my small, family business. It truly means the world to me AND my family!! I used a picture of Kyle and I because I'm missing my boy who is such a huge help to me. He is currently in Mexico staying with friends. Did you know that he is fluent in Spanish?? Anyway, many other families, too, who have their small businesses under our roof are very grateful to YOU who continue to support us as well. That includes my. daughter, Kara, who carries our candles and much of our boutique clothing in addition to doing our social media and lots of other "behind the scenes" kind of stuff. It's been quite a ride these past 15 years of Chic Antiques Market life...but these past 3 years have been especially challenging. I can't express how much it means to me that you have stuck with us and continued to show up and support us. As most of you know, we are back to being OPEN just 4 DAYS A MONTH. We have found that this is the best fit for our lives. I love being able to be at the shop all 4 days that we are open to connect with YOU. YOU are the reason we are here in the first place. I love hearing what's new, what projects you are working on and seeing your family pictures that you share with me. Thank you, I can't wait to do again in June!! Lori

There are also great farms with fresh produce and flowers in our area (Northern Farm Market, Crooked Creek Farm, Raven Oaks Farm) and shops in Romeo and Imlay City.
