Plus our half bath is fun but there's not a whole lot furniture-wise you can do in there, ya know. I guess I'm a fan of small spaces. You don't need a lot, or a lot of space, when it comes to a foyer or entryway. A statement piece makes an impact when you walk through the door β€” like this chair. Plus, it's useful so you really can't go wrong there πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Throw down a cute small area rug with some wall art or a mirror and you're good to go. Mixing timeless vintage with new pieces is one of our favorite things to do. We also love updating those homeless vintage pieces. We added bold black hardware to this white vintage dresser β€” because you always need a touch of black. And contrast. Both of these pieces would make great additions to your entryway, bedroom, or even living room. A dresser doesn't need to just be for clothes. I mean, look at all those drawers. Remember this little cutie from the other day? We Remember this little cutie from the other day? We referred to it as a petite dresser but it's technically a vintage commode. AKA a cabinet for your chamber pot with a pitcher & basin usually on top. The ultimate convenience in the middle of the night, in the 19th century πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Definitely better than having to hike through the yard in the middle of the night to go in an outhouse. Although, I've always liked the idea of an outhouse. But maybe not in January, in the middle of the night, when there's a foot of snow outside and it's 0 degrees. We updated this vintage commode's look with liming wax, which you can read about (and see the before of) in our latest blog post. We also added gold hardware to update it a little more. Need a new nightstand? Some extra storage in your office? Closet? Mudroom/entryway? This petite dresser (commode πŸ˜‰) is in the online shop now, along with some other great pieces.

It's the process we used on this little cutie vintage dresser πŸ‘†πŸ» Basically, it gives wood the look of being bleached β€” Which is allll the rage right now. We love how it took this vintage piece, that had seen better days, and updated it. The new hardware really completed the look. And we love a petite dresser! You can put these babies almost anywhere. Need a nightstand? Petite dresser. Something for your office? Petite dresser. Some storage in your closet? Petite. Dresser.
