It’s finally fall y’all!  The air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and cozy nights with friends are just what the season calls for.  Whether you’re hosting a Halloween gathering, a seasonal dinner party, or friends and family for Thanksgiving dinner – I’ve got you covered! Today, I’m sharing 5 simple, creative DIY fall dining table centerpieces and decor ideas for dressing up your autumn dining table!

Take it Outdoors

Perhaps your fall entertaining takes advantage of the natural beauty of the season!  Outdoor dining in my opinion is no different than indoor dining.  I’m always in favor of taking the indoor pieces outside.

Imagine this is a deck or screened-in porch!  If you’ve been to The Mill, you’ll know this room as the cold room!  It really is an accurate representation of the outdoors!

This ceramic pumpkin is a great fall outdoor piece for the center of your table or front porch!  Also, table coverings don’t have to be a traditional table cloth.  What do you think about using this burlap remnant to cover your dining table?

Chic Antique Centerpiece

Not sure where to begin when creating a dining table centerpiece…go vintage!  Start with a

vintage bowl, pitcher, vase, or in this case an antique silver tea set!  In keeping with the fall theme, I added some mini pumpkins and autumn faux stems.

Neutral Centerpiece Design

When I think about a neutral table design, I work with a monochromatic palette of tans, whites, or creams and a simple design.  I think this look can be sophisticated, modern, and traditional all in one neutral fall look!

Pumpkins & More Pumpkins

Nothing says fall like pumpkins!  I think pumpkins are the perfect home decor accessory – they’re perfect from mid-September through November.

Plaid…”Checks” All the Boxes

Check, gingham or plaid?  Whatever you call it…it deserves a spot on your dining room table.  This plaid runner is actually a throw! I’m also using kitchen towels on the table for placemats.  Adding a dough bowl with pumpkins completes this fall plaid table design.

Hope these 5 Fall Centerpiece ideas bring you inspiration as you entertain this season! Remember… you can shop for these fall centerpiece ideas with us every weekend.
