In-home coffee bars are all the rage! Why not? Who wouldn’t love a barista-styled coffee in the comfort of your home, especially first thing in the morning? I know that there are a few of you out there who don’t like coffee, so you can adapt these ideas for whatever it is you love. Actually, I used to be among you. I loved to crack open a can of Coke first thing in the morning, and sometimes I still do. But flavored creamers were a real game-changer for me. Most days I start off with a caramel flavored coffee!
I recently shared some ideas on how to make a cute coffee bar station in your home. I know that not everyone has a space large enough to dedicate to a coffee bar, though. Today, I thought I would show you how to be a part of the coffee bar station craze when your living space is limited.
The key to decorating small spaces is to make efficient use of all the space you have. In many cases that means using the vertical space! Here is an example of a coffee “bar” just using a wall shelf.
We just got these black metal shelves in the shop. I just love them because there are so many uses for these for sure with the hooks on the bottom. It’s perfect for your mugs, but in your small space, it would also make a great collection spot by the door, for keys, dog leash, or umbrella. This shelf can also add value to your small bathroom space, for toiletries and the hooks for towels. These are just a few ideas that come to mind right off the top of my head.
Back to the coffee station…to complete the overall look, I added a fun towel to add a little pattern and texture. Then, I topped it off with a small wreath to add some greenery, because you just can’t go wrong with adding greenery to anything. Simple yet stylish.
There you have it! Even in a small space you too can have a coffee bar. What’s your go-to, get the day started, morning drink of choice?
