Have you been reading my blogs? If you have, you saw that I’m getting Spring Fever. I decided to start rearranging my furniture in several rooms. I also received a shipment of Chic Antiques inventory to my house instead of the shop.
Happy accident, I’d say. Unpacking all of those fun goodies just made me want to decorate!
I moved this huge cabinet that was in my living room into my dining room. The cabinet was originally in the Hudson’s Department Store in downtown Detroit. You can see more details on it and before pictures of my house in this blog post.
The empty cabinet was just calling to all of that inventory waiting to go to the shop. I couldn’t help myself. I had to see what I could do with all of the new treasures!
How fun are these floral prints? I’m loving these rabbit statues and little cement bunnies, too.
I’m keeping with the blue/pink color scheme. I like mixing in a bit of boho with the more traditional/farmhouse style. It’s an easy way to update your look and keep your home looking fresh.
I added the poppy print to coordinate with the blacks and greenery. Putting in the chunky, distressed corbel brings both of the looks together.
If you are a non-green thumber like me, faux greenery is a dream come true. Fake plants have come a long way! I think these look pretty darn good. I put in some more of the cement bunnies to balance out the heights. When arranging your shelves, you want to make sure you don’t just line up things that are all the same.
On another shelf, I used some of the same things in a different arrangement to keep the whole cabinet looking cohesive.
And, here’s the entire cabinet. The really good news? Everything on this cabinet is going to be available for our March Market. Let us know if there is something you just you can’t live without. We can make it happen!
