As I was unpacking and taking pictures of our new Chic Antiques merchandise, I thought to myself, “Wow, self, there are so many great options for a mantel”.
This picture especially screamed, “I need to be on a mantel!” to me.

What do you think? I love all of the textures going on here. I loved the new wall baskets. They have a hanger on the back, but I just have it leaning here.

This votive holder is new for October, too. It’s black metal and wood. Such a great combination!

I added the faux fern that just arrived for height. You can never go wrong with greenery, I don’t think.

Last, but not least I added the garland. It’s gray felt and wood. The felt adds an unexpected texture and warmth. These are technically a “Christmas” item and are intended for your tree or holiday-themed mantle. However, I think they are extremely versatile and can be used year round. What do you think? Does it look out of place?

Since I told you that the round wall basket hangs on a wall, I decided to show you. It looks super cute hanging with our new clock, doesn’t it? The texture of the basket adds a nice mix with the metal. Also using different shapes makes your vignettes more interesting. Here I go again adding height with the greenery.

I hope that you got a little inspiration. I also hope to see you soon! Our market is this weekend and you can find the schedule for the rest of the year by clicking here.
